A quiet devotional
Come back whenever you’re ready.
Lumin holds four quiet moments through your day, a closet where you can shut the door and pray, and the whole Bible. Nothing is required of you, and nothing is measured.
Free to download. Pro is optional.
The day, held
Four moments. Miss all of them.
- 01
Morning Anchor
One verse to carry. Set down before the day starts pulling.
- 02
Midday
A pause in the middle. Thirty seconds is enough.
- 03
Evening Reflection
Look back without scoring it. What met you today?
- 04
Night
Rest. Nothing is asked of you here.
“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door.” — Matthew 6:6
Shut the door.
The Closet is a dark room inside Lumin — the same darkness at noon as at midnight. Bring what you’re carrying. Say it badly. Sit in silence and let that be the whole prayer.
Lumin never prays for you.
Quiet Time
Word. Prayer. Journal. Or none of them.
A Quiet Time session opens with Scripture, moves to prayer, and ends with a page to write on — and every one of those is optional. Sit through all three or sit through none. Silence is a finished session, not an abandoned one.
Word
A passage to sit with. Read it once, or read it twice, or close it.
Prayer
Say what you came to say. Silence is a real prayer.
Journal
A page to write on. Leave it blank if there are no words today.
Scripture
The whole Bible, quietly.
Open it at Genesis or open it at the passage someone mentioned this morning. Lumin will not interrupt you while you read.
- The full text, book by book, with a reader built for reading.
- Works offline. The whole Bible is on your phone already.
- No popups, no reading-plan guilt, nothing tallied.
Ask Lumin
A study companion that knows where it stops.
Ask about a passage and Lumin will give you context, history, and what the words meant to the people who first heard them.
It will not tell you what God is saying to you. It will not pray on your behalf. That isn’t its place, and it never will be.
What Lumin will never do
- Count your days
- Break a streak
- Send a notification that makes you feel behind
- Rank you against anyone
- Ask you to catch up
Habits built on shame don’t last. Lumin is built to be easy to return to after three months away.
Questions
Before you download
A devotional app built around four unhurried moments a day, a private prayer closet, and the whole Bible. Nothing is measured, and nothing is required of you.
Because consistency built on guilt does not survive a hard month. Lumin is designed to be easy to come back to, whether you opened it yesterday or last spring.
No. It explains passages and gives you historical and literary context. It will not pray on your behalf, and it will not tell you what God is saying to you.
Reading Scripture and journaling work fully offline. The AI study companion and cloud sync need a connection.
Yes, from inside the app. Open Profile, then Privacy, then Delete Account, and confirm.
Deleting removes your account and profile, your reading history, your AI conversations, your notes and highlights, and your settings and preferences. It is permanent and cannot be undone. The same screen lets you download a copy of your data first.
The door is open.
Lumin is free to download. Open it tonight, or next week, or whenever the day finally goes quiet.
